Siletz Grange Artisan Market, Tuesdays from 11 am to 3 pm.  Artisan Goods: cutting Boards, pottery, home crafts, soaps, tumblers, books, homemade goods, plant starts and more.  Lunch:  Bristo’s Place will be serving lunch and Dinner every Tuesday from 11-6.  The Grange Kitchen will be providing a DESSERT BAR: baked goods, root beer floats, Icee’s, and more!  If you are interested in becoming a vendor, please contact Marilyn Attridge at 541-444-2278 or Michelle Schaffer at 541-270-2864.

 

l  The Paul Washington Post #732 VFW Auxiliary held its first Patriotic Town Decorating Contest in honor of America’s 250 Year Birthday!!  First place winner went to Gunny & Myca Garcia, second place to Misty Dundas Family, and third place went to Jacqueline Burget.

 

Siletz RIVERRUN!  August 29th, 2026; 10 am to 3 pm.  Hot Rods, Classics, Rat Rods, Motorcycles, Golf Cars and whatever you LOVE to drive!  Music, Food, Prizes, Wheels and fun!  Register at City Hall, Siletz.  Entry Fee is $20 per vehicle.  Free to public.  541-272-1730

 

Annual Siletz Valley Community Garage Sale is scheduled for September 19th, 2026.  Hours are 9-4.  Contact Michelle at 541-270-2864 to be placed on the map or to set up in the Grange Hall.  $5 per table.

 

Home Food Preservation Program May to August 2026.  All classes are located at the Lincoln County Extension Office, 1211 SE Bay Blvd, Newport.  Wednesday, July 22, 2026, 5:30-7:30PM Hands-on Pressure-Canned Corn $30.  Saturday, August 15, 2026, 9AM-2PM Hands-on Pressure-Canned Tuna + Custom “Shop at the Dock” Tour $5.  Accommodation requests related to a disability should be made to Stormi Dykes, 541-648-6817 or stormi.dykes@oregonstate.edu 15-person limit per class, pre-registration required.

 

l  Siletz Public Library and Ms Teena are sponsoring a 2026 Summer Reading Program.  Signups began June 2nd.  Performances and activities start on June 18th.  Kids of all ages are welcome.  Plant a seed; Read!!

l  Did you know the City of Siletz has a Beautification and Memorial Project going on?  There are 10’x4’ slabs of concrete being sold for a concrete walking path with options to memorialize the slab.  Also being sold are 10 Park Benches with options for plaques.  Details can be obtained at City Hall.  These are limited time options.

 

Toledo Summer Festival and Logging Show “Pirate Loggers.”  July 10-12, 2026.  Memorial Field, 385 NW A Street; Toledo.

 

l Renting the Siletz Valley Grange Hall.  The fees are $25 per hour or $125 for the day.  There is a refundable $100 deposit to make a reservation.  Insurance is required to rent the building.  Contact Michelle Schaffer at 541-270-2864 to make a reservation.
